About the role
As a Supervisor you will contribute to the safe, efficient and reliable operation of the WEL network by supervising project, routine and reactive work on the distribution network, with specific emphasis on substations and associated network infrastructure.
Ensuring accuracy, consistency and reliability of the information and assets on the distribution network.
Responsibilities
- Optimise the performance, development and engagement of staff
- Supervise the delivery of assigned tasks and projects from planning to commissioning
- Participate in our after hours response roster to supervise the restoration of power supply
- Optimise the utilisation and performance of tools, plant and equipment, as well as the commercial performance of the unit
Skills and experience
- Proven, extensive technical knowledge within the electricity supply industry
- A recognised and relevant trade qualification
- Experience motivating and leading teams in varying and at time challenging environments
- An uncompromising commitment to workplace safety
- Strive for high quality, productivity and continuous improvement
