About the role
The Technology group will play a key role in delivering WEL’s strategy; ensuring we provide the business with support, technical expertise and guidance along the way. We have recently added a number of roles to our group and this includes a new Software Engineer.
Working within the Software Engineering Team, you will be responsible for the effective design and delivery of information systems at WEL. You will be committed to delivering both solution design and software work products to a high quality.
You will work closely with the Enterprise Architect to ensure solutions are delivered within the Solution Delivery Framework, proactively engaging stakeholders and customers along the way. As a Software Engineer at WEL you will quickly gain a good understanding of Solution Delivery and Design practices and be continually looking to make improvements, enabling us to “Build the Business”.
What can you bring us?
- A tertiary qualification (preferably in IT) or comparable experience
- Experience in IT Technical Design, with a portfolio of work that evidences a high quality product and high technical challenge
- A problem solving and analytical mind - you will be good at fact finding, using your initiative and working cooperatively as part of a team
