Based in Hamilton, we play an essential role in the region's economic and social development by identifying and investing in new technologies that will modernise our network and future-proof our region. About the role

As WEL begins to focus on new projects, we have recognised the need for an uplift in capability and capacity to deliver on our strategic goals. We believe the Energy-Tech sector is at the start of a growth curve, so we are now beginning to look for a number of skilled, innovative and enthusiastic individuals to join our team in supporting the company through this exciting new chapter.

As a Business Analyst, reporting to our Project Delivery Manager, you will help implement technology solutions in an effective way by determining the requirements of a project and communicating them clearly to stakeholders.

Duties

• Business Analysis - Understand and analyse user and business needs
• Implement viable business solutions, improvements and efficiencies
• Identify and explore opportunities for service and business improvement
• Manage stakeholder relationships

Skills and experience

• Tertiary qualification in IT/IS or related field
• Formal Business Analyst qualification preferable
• Significant experience in a similar role in an IS environment
• Strong Microsoft office skills
