Focusing on sustainable and innovative energy solutions, our Energy Services team explores and delivers sound, exciting technical innovations to our customers and our community.

The aim is to provide customers with reduced energy costs and choice by using a combination of solar, batteries, micro-grid development and optimisation software.

As a result this will enable us to continue to increase the availability, security and supply of our network; ensure our pricing is fair and equitable and increase sustainability to ensure we do the right thing for our environment and our communities.

Commercial Engineering and Business Development including our new subsidiary We.EV are the two functions that make up this department.

Our role is to design and maintain the safe, reliable and efficient operation of electrical distribution assets and infrastructure throughout the Waikato region.
