About the role
As a Network Engineer – Systems Architect, reporting to our Network Planning Team Leader, you will undertake exciting initiatives that optimise our network planning and its future growth.
This could be a fantastic development role for someone and will include:
- Generating and prioritising initiatives for network planning to meet performance requirements
- Undertaking analysis to develop innovative project solutions and monitoring processes
- Assessing the impact of proposed connections of load or generation on network security, quality and reliability
- Ensuring the healthy operation of network assets through data analysis
- Analysing network to identify power quality issues, monitor activity and loss optimisation and to produce system security reports
About you
We are looking for someone who has:
- A recognised BE Electrical or equivalent degree
- A minimum of 2 years+ relevant industry experience
- Experience with network modelling software (we use DlgSILENT)
If you have experience in Electricity Distribution Networks and / or are working towards your CPEng, then all the better!
