About the role
Reporting to the Manager Sustainability & Business Improvement and supported by a Fleet Advisor, this role is responsible for the delivery of WEL’s fleet strategy, covering sustainability, safety, vehicle selection and improvements, driver behaviours, and vehicle maintenance and repair.
You will also focus on enhancing driver education and behaviour, alongside the usual activities of vehicle delivery, maintenance, and reporting on our fleet of over 100 vehicles.
What you’ll bring
- At least 5 years’ experience in fleet management with a focus on safety;
- Level 7 tertiary qualification, or relevant technical qualification or significant relevant experience
- A full Class 2 or class 3 license is required
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong skills across the Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of ERoad Telematics (or similar systems)
- A collaborative, and continuous-improvement mindset, with a strong ability to work alongside people at all levels of our organisation
