About the role
As a Team Leader Underground Projects - Design & Planning, you will lead and inspire your multi-disciplinary team to deliver exceptional designs that are safe, to specification and timely. Enable your team to perform well by assigning the multi-disciplinary resources, tools and processes that drive successful delivery.
While demonstrating strong leadership, your technical and regulatory understanding allows you to pitch in where needed for the team to achieve goals. You will need to proactively manage workflows and address problems fast to ensure no bottlenecks or backlog.
Collaboration with your wider team, across the business and other key stakeholders is essential to ensure everyone is on the same page, working towards the same goal of safe and quality designs delivering customer satisfaction.
Skills and experience
- Design/Engineering and/or field supervisor experience
- Experience in electricity distribution networks
- Decision making and critical thinking
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Leadership and management at Team Leader level or above - experience leading and managing teams and getting the best out of people through effective communication, influencing, and performance focus
- Trade/tertiary qualification Level 5 or above
