Network Reliability Engineer
In this role you will lead the asset reliability and network performance within the Asset Management team

About the role
As a Network Reliability Engineer, you will lead asset reliability and performance within our Asset Management Team. WEL has gained ISO55001 Asset Management certification and we are looking for someone that can uphold these principles in our systems and processes.
You will also monitor the performance of network assets and target measurement, analysis, maintenance and asset replacement, to achieve greater asset reliability.
Responsibilities
· Gather and interpret reliability and fault cause data to assist in preventative maintenance and asset replacement strategies
· Create asset management plans and strategies for all major asset groups
· Work collaboratively with and help guide the team in creating maintenance plans that align with the Reliability Centered Maintenance principles and methodology
· Develop business cases to resolve network performance issues and assist with the updating of the Asset Management Plan
Skills and experience
· A strong understanding of the principles underpinning ISO55001
· 5-10 years’ experience in strategically delivering predictive and preventative engineering in a power system environment
· Proven reliability engineering know-how
· Knowledge of the distribution network industry
· An appropriate tertiary qualification
· Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities
