About the role
As Supervisor – Network Utilities, you will contribute to the safe, efficient and reliable operation of the WEL network by supervising project, routine and reactive work of the Network Utilities Team. Ensuring accuracy, consistency and reliability of the information and assets on the distribution network.
Responsibilities
- Optimise the performance, development and engagement of staff
- Supervise the delivery of assigned tasks and projects from planning to commissioning
- Participate in our after-hours response roster to supervise the restoration of power supply
- Optimise the utilisation and performance of tools, plant and equipment, as well as the commercial performance of the unit
About you
We are looking for someone who has:
- Proven, extensive technical knowledge within the electricity supply industry
- A recognised and relevant trade qualification
- Experience motivating and leading teams in varying and at time challenging environments
- A strong commitment to ensuring the Health and Safety of themselves and those around them
- Strive for high quality, productivity and continuous improvement
